Veggie Mobile, operated by Capital Roots, will be at 700 South Pearl Street, Albany, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Veggie Mobile is a produce aisle on wheels for the purchase of fresh and affordable fruits and vegetables year round.

Panache Hair and Nail Studio Fundraiser for the Center for Disability Services, noon to 4pm., 1661 Route 9, Clifton Park. Manicures, wash and blow dries, plus gift baskets, photography sessions and a bake sale.

Oktoberfest 5K Albany at 895 Broadway. Race starts at 10:15 am. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Center for Disability Services. Use code CD2017 when you register to be sure the Center gets your donation.

21st Annual Capital Region Buddy Walk, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Central Park, Schenectady, with Megan Bomgaars, a popular self advocate with Down Syndrome and a cast member on "Born This Way." Bomgaars will give an inspirational speech before the walk begins and will serve as Grand Marshal. Register as an individual, form a team or donate: www.capitalregionbw.donordrive.com. Proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, a division of the Center for Disability Services.
Showcase Performance by the Center for Disability Services’ Albany After School Program with the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, 3:15 p.m., in the gymnasium, 314 South Manning Boulevard, Albany. Free and open to interested members of the community. This program is partially funded by a NYSCA Special Arts Services Grant and a grant from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
A Showcase for Creative MOVEment, a collaborative dance program presented by the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company and the Center for Disability Services 10:30 a.m., Albany Academy for Girls, 140 Academy Road, Albany. Free and open to the public. Individuals in the Center’s MOVE--Mobility Opportunities Via Experience--adult program participate and Dance Workshop students from Albany Academy for Girls are part of the three way community collaboration. The program is partially funded by a NYSCA Special Arts Services grant and the Viele family in memory of Brian Viele.
