Tuesdays, April 5 on-
Veggie Mobile, operated by Capital Roots, will be at 700 South Pearl Street, Albany, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Veggie Mobile is a produce aisle on wheels for the purchase of fresh and affordable fruits and vegetables year round.

From Now On--
At Christopher’s Custom, there will be a 20% donation to the Center for Disability Services from every purchase made by new or returning customers who attended An Aficionado Experience. Call Vince Rua at 518-859-3718 or for specific details.

March 22
Ask the Experts: Multiple Sclerosis, a free health education program for patients, care partners and the public, featuring Rossella Cavaliere, MD, neurologist and Director of the MS Care Center; Gaye McCafferty, MS, ANP-BC, MSCS and Tara Penesso, LCSW-R. 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., 314 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, enter at door #8. This event was originally scheduled for March 15 and was changed due to the forecast for heavy snow.

April 6
A Showcase for Creative MOVEment, 10:30 a.m., Albany Academy for Girls, 140 Academy Road, Albany. Free and open to the public. Showcase performances are the result of a three way collaboration among the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, Dance Workshop students from Albany Academy for Girls and adult program participants in MOVE—Mobility Opportunities Via Experience— and staff members from the Center for Disability Services

25th Annual SEFCU Monopoly Tournament at the Albany Marriott, 189 Wolf Road, Colonie

June 3 & 4

Parade of Homes, presented by the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association. More than a dozen builders will participate at various locations throughout the area. The Center for Disability Services is charitable partner of this two weekend event.

June 8
An Aficionado Experience, presented by Northwestern Mutual. An evening of fine cuisine, spirits, live and silent auctions and the opportunity to mingle with a special sports guest to be announced. At the Pruyn House, Loudonville. Call (518) 944-2107 or

July 20
24th Newton Plaza & Marini Homes Siro’s Cup, the unofficial kick off of the thoroughbred racing meet at Saratoga Race Course, held on the eve of opening day. Featuring a summer buffet, open bar, a large silent auction, 50/50 raffle, dancing to The Electric City Horns and mingling with notable people from horse racing and sports. Honoree to be announced.
