Now through December 31
Partial proceeds from the sale of “Hannaford Helps” Blue Reusable Bags at the Hannaford Supermarket in Amsterdam (15 Hannaford Plaza, Amsterdam) will benefit the Center for Disability Services. $1 from every Blue Bag sale will support the Center’s programs and services and help the planet!

From Now On--
At Christopher’s Custom, there will be a 20% donation to the Center for Disability Services from every purchase made by new or returning customers who attended An Aficionado Experience. Call Vince Rua at 518-859-3718 or for specific details.

Now through December 20
Centered/Our Journeys, an art exhibit to showcase the creativity and talents of program participants of different ages from the Center for Disability Services. The artwork highlights personal stories and dreams. Exhibit in the Foyer Gallery through December 20. Free and open to the public. The Arts Center of the Capital Region, 265 River Street, Troy

December 3
Jingle Bell Jubilee with music by The Refrigerators. An evening of dancing, fine cuisine and spirits at the Queensbury Hotel, 88 Ridge Street, Glens Falls. Guests enjoy a preview of the North Country Festival of Trees and early shopping, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., $75 per person. Click for details

December 4–6
24th Annual North Country Festival of Trees at the Queensbury Hotel, Glens Falls. Hundreds of decorated trees and wreaths, arts & crafts for the kids, and of course, visits with Santa! Click here for details.

December 5
5th Annual “HOLIDAY TOYS & NOISE” at The Hollow, 79 North Pearl Street, Albany, from 7p.m. to 1 a.m. Organized by Michael Thornton and MIRK. Performance lineup to be announced. Admission is $10 and/or an unwrapped toy. All cash proceeds benefit the Langan School at the Center for Disability Services. All unwrapped toys will be donated to the Giving Tree project at the Center. Click for information

December 7
Art Reception for Adult Program participants from the Center for Disability Services. Includes holiday music by some members of The Expressions and the Fabulous Harmonizers, craft sale, basket raffle and refreshments. Performance of “The Best One Yet,” under the direction of Tammy Ellis Robinson. Donations appreciated. 10 a.m. to noon. The Arts Center of the Capital Region, 265 River Street, Troy

December 9

January 31, 2016
56th Annual Center for Disability Services Telethon, noon to 7 p.m., at the Radisson Hotel Albany, formerly the Holiday Inn Albany at 205 Wolf Road. The live broadcast will air on WXXA/News 10abc on FOX 23 (cable channel 8 or check your listings). Special guests to be announced include a FOX television star and a player from Major League Baseball and a player from the National Football League.
