Every Tuesday
Veggie Mobile, operated by Capital Roots, will be at 700 South Pearl Street, Albany, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. Veggie Mobile is a produce aisle on wheels for the purchase of fresh and affordable fruits and vegetables year round.

At Christopher’s Custom, there will be a 20% donation to the Center for Disability Services from every purchase made by new or returning customers who attended An Aficionado Experience. Call Vince Rua at 518-859-3718 or for specific details.

Make a Splash campaign to raise funds to repair the aquatic therapy pool at the Charles R. Wood Foundation Aquatic Therapy Center at Prospect Center. To contribute, text the word pool to 71777 or for a video and to donate online, go to

26th Annual SEFCU Monopoly Tournament, registration at 5:30 p.m., play begins at 6 p.m. Albany Marriott, 189 Wolf Road, Albany. New players and teams welcome. Players must be at least 18 years old.

A Showcase for Creative MOVEment, presented by Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, Albany Academy for Girls & the Center for Disability Services. 10:30 a.m., FREE, at AAG, 140 Academy Road, Albany. Open House at Clover Patch Camp, a day and overnight camp for children and adults with disabilities. 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visit, tour the facilities and ask questions. 55 Helping Hand Lane, Glenville.

An Aficionado Experience at a new, larger location: Shaker Heritage Society, 25 Meeting House Road, Albany. The evening of fine cuisine and mingling starts at 6 p.m., and is presented by Northwestern Mutual to benefit the Center for Disability Services. It’s the 24th annual! Capital Region Parade of Homes presented by Trustco Bank. Take a self guided tour of homes throughout the region. The Center for Disability Services is charitable partner of the event and Center volunteers greet visitors at each site. Tickets cost $20 and are valid all four days. Ticket sales benefit the Center. JetFest 2018 presented by Sea-doo, to benefit the Langan School at the Center for Disability Services. Great Sacandaga Lake. Weekend camping at Northampton Beach Campground, Mayfield. For details, go to Facebook events/JetFest.

July 19
25th Siro’s Cup, the unofficial kick off of the Saratoga social season. 6:30 p.m. at Siro’s Restaurant, Saratoga Springs. Celebrate the silver anniversary of this signature event, which benefits the Center for Disability Services, with past Siro’s Cup award winners, the 2018 honoree, notables from the horse racing industry and racing fans. $125 per person; $1100 for a group of ten; $150 at the door. Concert for a Cause, Shepard Park, Lake George, organized by musician/performer Ryan Clark. To benefit Prospect Center, a division of the Center for Disability Services.

Lake George Aficionado, an evening of fine food and mingling with a special sports guest to be announced. Lake George Club, Lake George.

22nd Annual Capital Region Buddy Walk, Central Park, Schenectady.
A one mile walk for everyone, plus activities, food and fun.
Proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, a division of the Center for Disability Services.

December 4, 5 & 6
27th Annual North Country Festival of Trees, The Queensbury Hotel, Glens Falls. Decorated trees, wreaths and more, plus Santa Claus, family events, entertainment and a Holiday Boutique with handcrafted goods. Proceeds benefit Prospect Center, a division of the Center for Disability Services.
