Angela Aldam, M.D.

Dr. Angela Aldam has been with Center Health Care at the Center for Disability Services since 2006. She specializes in medical treatment of disorders that affect a person's function and performance (such as mobility and activities of daily living). These disorders include cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, amputation, stroke, traumatic brain injury and musculoskeletal pain syndromes.  The goal of treatment is to optimize function through the use of medications, physical modalities, physical training with therapeutic exercise, movement & activities modification, adaptive equipment and orthotics (braces).  She also performs electrodiagnostic testing (EMG) to provide nervous system functional information for the diagnosis and prognosis of neuromuscular disorders.   

      Dr. Aldam received her medical degree from the Univeristy of Rochester School of Medicine, with her residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.  Previous to her appointment at Center Health Care, Dr. Aldam practiced at Bristol Hospital Wellness Center in Bristol, CT, and Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY.
