Vanessa Calderon, D.M.D.

Dr. Calderon has been with Center Health Care at the Center for Disability Services since 2010 providing dental care to patients with special needs.   Dr. Calderon received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ.  She completed her residency in General Practice at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY in 2003.

      Prior to joining Center Health Care’s dental team, Dr. Calderon practiced dentistry at St. Peter’s Hospital, including outreach services at its affiliated
long-term skilled nursing facility and through the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.  Previously, Dr. Calderon practiced at Long Beach Medical center-Komanoff Pavilion in Long Beach, NY, as well as at the private practice of Dr. John McLaughlin in Bayshore, NY.

       Dr. Calderon is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Third District Dental Society.  Dr. Calderon is bi-lingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
