Charles Park After School & After Work Respite and Vacation Program: Located at Charles Park in Guilderland, the Charles Park After School & Vacation Program is an ‘Hourly Respite’ Program for individuals aged 12–21 with a diagnosis of a developmental disability. The After Work Program is for individuals aged 21 and older. The programs, which are community based, provide a safe setting for recreation and socialization after school or day program. The programs utilize community resources in the Guilderland area such as the YMCA and bowling alley. The program operates Monday-Friday, 2:00–6:00pm and 8:00am–6:00pm on school vacation days.
