Dr. Collins joined Center Health Care at the Center for Disability Services in 2011.  He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY.  He performed his residency in Neurology and fellowship in Epilepsy at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
     
      Prior to his relocation to Albany, NY, Dr. Collins practiced at Johnson County Neurology and Menorah Medical Center in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

      Quality of life is the most important goal of Dr. Collins when treating patients and families with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Dr. Collins practices general neurology of adults and children (ages 4 years and older), in addition to all aspects of epilepsy care.  He is also board certified in Sleep Medicine.

       Dr. Collins is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Medical Association.  He is also active in the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
