Jack E. Dodd, Jr., M.D. Dr. Dodd joined Center Health Care at the Center for Disability Services in 2011. His practice focuses on evaluation and medication management, in conjunction with team collaboration from the Psychology and Social Work Departments. Dr. Dodd received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He conducted his residency in Psychiatry at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California, during which he received the honor of Outstanding Psychiatric Resident in 1984. Dr. Dodd has nearly 30 years of experience in psychiatry. Prior to his appointment at Center Health Care, Dr. Dodd was the Medical Director of The Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Adult Programs at Four Winds Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY. He has also practiced and consulted at various healthcare facilities, including: William Sharpe Jr. State Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and River Park Hospital, all located in West Virginia; and Mesilla Valley Hospital and Charter Hospital of Santa Teresa, both in New Mexico. Dr. Dodd also served for 8 years as a U.S. Army Medical Corps officer. His experience also includes an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Dodd is a member of American Psychiatric Association, and the New York State Psychiatric Association. |
