Eileen D. Ehrenberg, M.D. Dr Ehrenberg has been with Center Health Care at the Center for Disability Services since 2007. She is the Director of Psychiatry. Her practice focuses on evaluation and medication management, in conjunction with team collaboration from the Psychology and Social Work Departments. She also provides clinical supervision to the psychologists and several of the Center’s residence staff. Dr. Ehrenberg also provides clinical supervision to the social workers, psychologists and house staff for several of the Center’s residences, as well as consultation to the staff at the Center’s South Pearl Street facility. She sees patients at the Center’s Albany and Clifton Park sites, and at Schoharie ARC. Dr. Ehrenberg is an International Medical Graduate with clinical training in Chicago, Illinois. She received her medical degree from Universidad CETEC , Dominican Republic. She was a Resident physician at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY and completed her Psychiatry residency and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Prior to her appointment at Center Health Care, Dr. Ehrenberg was the Medical Director of an Adolescent and the Children’s Unit at Four Winds Saratoga. She was also a former Assistant Chief Medical Officer there. Prior to her sixteen years at Four Winds, Dr. Ehrenberg was Chief of the Girl’s Adolescent Secure Care Unit at Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center in Orangeburg, NY. Dr. Ehrenberg is a member of the Board of Directors for Transitional Services Association in Saratoga. She has a Groom’s license and continues to enjoy the company of thoroughbreds. |
