Lori Kearsing
Deputy Executive Director, Health Services

Lori Kearsing was appointed the Deputy Executive Director of Health Services of the Center for Disability Services in February of 2004.  In this capacity, she is responsible for administrative oversight of all Center Health Care programs and services, including:  primary care, medical specialty, behavioral health, dental, outpatient therapy services, and assistive technology.

Ms. Kearsing has been an employee at the Center for Disability Services for nearly 30 years in a variety of capacities. She began her career with the Center as a Physical Therapist, and was promoted to several positions, including:  Senior Physical Therapist, Chief of Physical Therapy, Assistant Vice President of Rehabilitation Technology Services, Assistant Vice President of Outpatient Therapy, and more recently, the Director of Clinical Services.  Prior to her career at the Center, Ms. Kearsing was a Physical Therapist for various healthcare providers, including: Visiting Nurses Association of Albany, State University Hospital at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, and Child’s Hospital and Nursing Home in Albany, NY.

Ms. Kearsing received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, and is currently working on her Master degree in Health Administration through Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.

Ms. Kearsing is a member of several associations and community boards, including: Visiting Nurse Association of Albany; Cerebral Palsy Association of New York State Health & Clinical Services Committee; and North Albany YMCA Board of Managers.  She is a graduate of the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce Capital Leadership Class of 2004.  Ms. Kearsing is also involved in multiple church-based activities at her parish.

Ms. Kearsing and her husband live in Albany.   They have two daughters and a son.
