Shaker students help with the Center's Giving Tree project

Give to the Center’s Giving Tree

There has been a strong response to this year’s Giving Tree effort at the Center for Disability Services, but additional donations are sought and will be gratefully accepted. There is still time to participate if you would like to help out.

The Giving Tree project, organized by Foundation and Service Coordination employees, assists Center students, adults and families who are in need during the holiday season by providing warm clothing, food, household goods, and a fun gift for each child.

Generous donations of clothing, boots, personal care items, toys, games and books have been received from Albany PAL (Police Athletic League), Complexions, First Priority Mortgage, Inc., Northwestern Mutual/The Tronco Financial Group, St. Ambrose Church, SEFCU, the Shaker High Girls Track Team and Toys for Tots/USMC, as well as from individuals, staff, board and family members.

For information about the Center’s Giving Tree, please call (518) 880-1829.
