52nd Center for Disability Services Telethon and Radiothon Set The 52nd Center for Disability Services Telethon is scheduled for Sunday, January 29, from noon to 7 p.m., on WXXA/FOX23 News, live from the Holiday Inn Albany on Wolf Road. The community fundraising and awareness weekend will kick off with the Country 107.7 WGNA Radiothon all day on Friday, January 27, and during Friday afternoon drive time on ESPN Radio 104.5 FM The Team WTMM. The broadcasts will feature child representative Maya Vasquez, a 3 year old student in the Center’s CloverPatch Preschool M.O.V.E. (Mobility Opportunities Via Education) class; and young adult representative Robert Gray, a 17 year old student in the Center’s Langan School who lives in the Center’s Consaul Road residence. Inspirational stories will focus on Amanda Canaday, an 8 year old Langan School Elementary Two pupil who also receives speech, occupational, physical and Center Health Care services at the Center. Amea and Amaya White, twins who live at St. Margaret’s Center, on the new ventilation and second floor specialty pediatric units. Volunteers are needed for the WGNA Radiothon.
