A Red Carpet Affair

It was full on Hollywood glamour at A Red Carpet Affair, the annual prom for students and staff at the Langan School, part of the Center for Disability Services. The big event was held June 8, at St. Sophia’s in Albany. Make A Splash!

Make a splash by donating to efforts to raise funds for necessary repair work at the Charles R. Wood Foundation Aquatic Center at Prospect Center in Queensbury. The aquatic therapy program, which serves students from the Langan School at Prospect Center and members of the community, had to be closed in January because the boiler and rooftop dehumidifier failed. For people who have disabilities, who need physical rehabilitation because of injury or surgery or have conditions such as arthritis, aquatic therapy helps with mobility, flexibility, strengthening and range of motion. It is part of the Individualized Education Program for many Langan School students. Prospect Center is a division of the Center for Disability Services.
