It is a fact that individuals with disabilities, and certainly the parents, family and caregivers who provide constant care, need a break from their everyday routines. In other words, they need Respite.

Schenectady After School Program: Located at the Paige Elementary School in the Schenectady City School District this after school program is a “Hourly Respite” for school aged individuals with a diagnosis of a devel-opmental disability. The Schenectady after school program provides recreational program-ming for individuals. This program operates Monday - Friday according to the Schenectady City School District calendar.
