Theodore Zeltner, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Zeltner was appointed the Medical Director of the Center for Disability Services in March of 2009.  As the Medical Director, he is responsible for the overall quality of the Center’s health care and assistive technology services, ensuring a consistent philosophy and standard of medical care across all programs.  In addition to his Medical Director responsibilities, Dr. Zeltner is an active Primary Care provider at Center Health Care.

       Dr. Zeltner received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and performed his residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, NY.  Dr. Zeltner also earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Union Graduate College in Schenectady, NY.

       Dr. Zeltner has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, including his primary care practice at Community Care Physicians, a private practice, and as an attending physician at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY.

       Dr. Zeltner is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners.  He holds various professional memberships, including: Albany County Medical Society-Executive Committee, Medical Society of New York State, New York State Internal Medicine Society-Northeast New York Chapter, and American Society of Internal Medicine.

             Dr. Zeltner’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Capital Repertory Theatre.
