Here is how to search our job listings and submit interest in a position:
||Click on one or more of the job categories listed below; or to see a complete alphabetical listing of current jobs, scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the "All Jobs Listed Alphabetically" link.
||When you find a position you are interested in and believe you are qualified for, click on the "Apply online now" link at the end of each job posting.
||Complete all required fields on the form and submit.
||You will be given the option to upload a cover letter and or resume from your browser on the last page of this form.
What to expect after you submit your interest in a position:
||Your form will automatically be e-mailed to the recruiter for the position(s) you expressed interest in. The recruiter will review your qualifications against those required by the job and by the Center.
||The Center considers a candidate a qualified applicant when they meet the requirements for experience, education and certification for the position of interest. Furthermore, this requires applicants to have demonstrated reliability and dependability with their experience and/or work history.
||If found to meet qualifications, you may be contacted within a week to complete the rest of the application process.
||Once your completed application is received, the recruiter will determine whether you will be considered for the position for which you applied. If you are being considered, you will be contacted for a phone or in person screening.
||If the screening finds that you are a good fit for the position, an interview with the Hiring Manager will be arranged.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are not able to handle inquiries regarding the status of your application. Your application will be kept on file for future consideration.

As a component of our application process, the Center for Disability Services conducts criminal background checks which may include, consistent with all applicable laws, Department of Motor Vehicles, State Central Registry for child abuse and maltreatment, Medicaid fraud, professional license/certification checks and fingerprinting. If at anytime during the interview process you would like to withdraw your application, you may do so without prejudice.

Adult Day Program Positions
Typical openings would include: Skills Specialist, Skills Coordinator, Program Operation Specialist, LCSW, OT, COTA, PT, PTA ,RN, LPN, Behavior Specialist
Any position within the agency which requires state licensure or certification, for expample, CSW, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, RN, LPN, CNA, Licensed Psychologist, School Psychologist, Behavior Specialist, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Dentist, Dental Hygenist, Dental Assistant, Psychiatrist, etc

Consumer Residence Positions
Typical openings would include: Residential Counselor, Clinical Assistant, Assistant Manager, Program Manager, Program Administrator, CSW, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, RN, LPN, Behavior Specialist
Positions assisting children or adults with daily living skills and personal assistance. Typical openings would include: Residential Counselor, Skills Specialist, Teacher Assistant,

IT Technical Support; IT Application Specialist
Responsible for the supervision of the functions of the agency's programs and/or staff

Pre-school, and School Positions
Self Contained classroom staff and Therapists for children with Multiple Disabilities and/or who have a diagnosis on the Autism/Asperger's spectrum. Typical openings include: Teaching Assistants, Special Ed Teachers, Second Jobs, CSW, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, RN, LPN, School Psychologist
Prospect Center - Queensbury
Prospect Center is a not-for-profit, private organization, which provides a variety of services to children and adults with mental retardation, physical challenges or developmental disabilities who live in Warren, Washington and Northern Saratoga counties.
Relief or Per Diem work
Positions with varying schedules, or varying availability of hours. As needed or Seasonal Work. We hire Direct Care staff and Certified/Licensed Professionals on a Relief or PerDiem basis.
Positions that are for a relatively short duration. For example, we hire staff to work at our Camp CloverPatch, Summer School.
Service Coordination/Case Management
Provide Case Management and Service Coordination for Consumers with Developmental Disabilities. Typical openings include: Service Coordinator, Service Coordination Manager
Long term Nursing Care facility providing care and a home environment to children and young adults.
Provide transportation of people with developmental disabilities to Day Habilitation Programs and Jobs. Typical openings are: Drivers, Mechanics, Transport Aides
